The week prior it was snowing, the week AFTER it was snowing.. Somehow we got sunny warm weather and turning colors. Beautiful!

Was in Costa Rica for 12 days of surfing and photography.
Its the 4th year and its still amazing, hot and sweaty.. We are already planning for next year!

Tahoe Ski

Made it up to ski for a day with old old (the amount of time I've known them, not their age... ehhem ) friends. It was the one day between all the storms that wasn't snowing/raining.

Steamboat Watch Out!

So my sister just got a new job at Smartwool! Yes insanely cozy socks.
They had to move to Steamboat Springs, CO.. Bummer huh.
I helped get their vibe on in town, mostly scoping it out.. Fly-fished a little but tough going with 8ft snow banks and 4degree weather... But will be seeing more and more of this town as they get settled. Excited!

9th Big Beers Fest in Vail, CO

Yup went again this year... This is the Rolls Royce of beer fests. Not only are the beers the best in the world, they all have(should) to be over 8%ABV to be there. We saw the "Beer Hunter" there too, we laughed a lot! If you know, you know.

Ski Beaver Creek...

If you haven't, you really need to ski/board Beaver Creek in Colorado. Was lucky enough to ski and shoot there New Years Day 2009 this year. Not only is the skiing the very best, the people watching is world-class. Oh, and its all about the Hot, FRESH BAKED chocolate-chip cookies while you stand in the lift lines. um, ya.
